~MEN’S MINISTRIES~

Sword: Every Saturday morning men come together to read the Word of God.  All men are welcome to come out at 9 AM. Give it a try!  (You won’t be sorry you did)

Men’s Breakfast: The second Saturday of every month all men are welcome to come for good food and fellowship! It starts at 8:30 AM and is done by 10:00. You do not want to miss this especially when Phil James is cooking!!

~WOMEN’S MINISTRIES~

Alliance Women: Every fourth Saturday of the month our Alliance Women meet at 1pm at the church. Alliance Women help support local and international ministries through a variety of ways. These are amazing women who have strong faith and care for one another.  All ladies are welcome to be a part of this group.

Ladies’ L.I.F.T. -LIFT stands for “Learning  In  Fellowship  Together” and that is exactly what takes place each Wednesday from 10 to 11:30am. Ladies from different churches meet at the South East YMCA to share, and be encouraged. The facilitator, Kathy T, says “Every week it is something different.  Every person comes with a different need, but God always shows up, and at the end every need is met.” The South East YMCA is on Six Mile Lane and they provide free child care. This is open to all women, regardless of age, background or religious belief.  (Sorry guys, no men allowed.) They are discovering together the L.I.F.T. that Biblical truth can bring to their lives and to their relationships.  For information call the International Christian Center at 502–451-9343. No need to register- just come and join the group!

Tuesday Morning Prayer -Every Tuesday morning this group comes together and “moves mountains” in prayer. Meeting in the home of Fran and Karen, this is one of the more encouraging and spiritually vital things you can be a part of. This is definitely something to take advantage of! There are two parts to this meeting: from 9:30am to about 10:30 there is a brief time of study and giving thanks to God, and then there is a short break, followed by a time of prayer from 11am until about noon.

~SENIOR ADULT MINISTRIES~

We have a very fine senior’s group we call “50 plus”! It is almost as if the fountain of youth has been discovered here! We love getting together, and we also refuse to be “retired” from meaningful life or from Christian Service!   We will be posting up-coming events here! Sometimes we merge a happening with folks from the YMCA. Everyone is welcome - we’re very inclusive!

~PRAYER MINISTRIES~

Special prayer events are held throughout the year to remember the needs of our families, church and community. Check the website frequently for updates and meeting times.

* There is a regular Prayer meeting every Tuesday at 9:30am. This prayer meeting focuses on the church as well as national and international needs. It is held in a Church member’s home. If you are interested in coming please call 451-9343.
