The West Beuchel area is one of the most diverse areas in Louisville. People from many parts of the world have moved into this community over the last 20 years. As Christ taught in the parable of the Good Samaritan, we wanted to be a good neighbor to our neighbors. We were visible to our community but we also wanted to be involved, and really minister to the community around us. It was a challenging but natural decision to become an International Center and help people build their lives as they encounter the living Christ. ESL (English as a Second Language)- Tuesday nights at 7 PM we offer English Classes as a free service to the community. There are 4 levels of classes ranging from very beginner through advanced, and a very dedicated group of teachers. We will break for Christmas and resume classes on January 12th. Cl asses meet in the lower level of the International Christian Center. This is near the nursery and children’s area so mom and dad are close to the kids at all times. If you have any questions call Michelle at 502-451-9343. |

Soccer! Every Sunday night at 6 PM people from all over the world come together to play on the International Christian Center Soccer field. (It’s mostly men who play but there are some teenagers and a couple of women who join in.) It is incredible to see people from so many different nations be brought together by the love of a sport. If you are interested in knowing how good these guys are feel free to come and watch- and if you’re brave- come and play! Individuals and families are all welcome! There is something to do for everyone whether playing soccer, playing on the play ground, making new friends through watching the game, or making your own pick-up game on the side of the field. Come check it out! |

Compassion Ministries- Because there are a lot of refugees settled in this area there is a lot of need to serve our community in a physical sense. Whether it is helping someone get to the store or hospital, helping with homework, or just checking in on a family, we want them to know that someone cares. There are always opportunities to serve as Jesus’ hands and feet. If you are interested in learning about this please call Michelle at 502-451-9343. |
